Since the economic depression began in December 2007, the number of available jobs has greatly decreased, and the number of unemployed has doubled. This is very unfortunate, and although the government has made some moves to lessen this hard ache, they have only been small steps in the large depression. Though the government is trying to do their part in the recovery the citizens of the U.S. need to do their part and start spending money. For this depression to get better it must get worse. The problem is, to spend money they need jobs, and the 15 million unemployed are fighting for about 2.5 million jobs. This is depressing, but will soon get better, once we begin to be less frugal with our money.

I agree that things might need to get worse before it gets better, but people don't need to be spending money unless they have it, which is how we got in this economic depression.
